-
The road department personnel do not plow
private driveways or roads.
-
Do not plow, shovel, or blow snow into or
across the road. This can be hazardous to other
motorists and create additional problems for our drivers.
-
Please do not place trash cans into the
roadway when snowplows are expected to be plowing.
-
Please understand that snow in your driveway
is unavoidable.
-
If we experience a heavy snowfall, the
snowplow drivers will make one pass on their route to open the
roads. A second pass will be made on the same route at a
later time.
-
Main roads throughout the township are salted
and plowed first - then secondary roads.
-
The township does not plow county roads or
state routes.
-
Please stay at least 100 feet back from our
snowplows. Our drivers cannot see directly behind their
trucks. If you are too close, there could be an
unavoidable accident. Also, salt could be spraying
from our spreaders, and could hit your vehicle.
