A Few of
the Things We Do
- The
association membership
coordinates Township Day and
public relations for that event.
School visits are scheduled and
trustees meet with teachers and
students to help them learn about local government.
-
The membership publishes an
annual directory which
includes township officials,
county officials, and an
advertising directory.
Local statistics are published
and contact information for
many local government
agencies is also included.
This book is available for
sale at outlets throughout the
county for a nominal fee.
If you would like to receive a
copy of the township book
contact Laurie Limes at
419-344-4992.
-
Many members of the WCTA
are involved with government at the state level and attend
conferences throughout the year.
This involvement helps them stay informed regarding
the latest laws and regulations that could affect their
local constituents.
-
The Wood County
Township Association hosts a
welcome center at the Wood
County Fair every summer.
We enjoyed visiting with you
this summer and look forward
to seeing you over the course
of the next year!
