TWO NEWS ITEMS FOR YOUR INFORMATION

SAFETY DAY is planned for Sunday, Oct. 19
from 2-5 pm at Lusher Park in Haskins. 

Numerous agencies will be in attendance, including, but not limited to:

• ProMedica LifeFlight (demonstration at 2:30 pm)
• Middleton Township EMS and Fire Departments
• Haskins Village Police Department
• Wood County Sheriff's Department
• Ohio Highway State Patrol
• Wood County Hospital
• Wood County Health Department

Three township levies will be on the ballot November 4. 

Ballot language is available by contacting the
Fiscal Officer via email at middletonclerk@midohio.twcbc.com. 

The issues include:

• EMS Department - Renewal - 5 Mills, 5 years
• Fire Department - Replacement - 0.5 Mills, 2 years
• Road Department - Replacement - 2 Mills, 3 years

Please feel free to contact any township official, supervisor, or chief with questions or comment.  Visitors are encouraged to attend the Oct. 15 meeting of the trustees. 

Fire Truck Bid specifications are available electronically by emailing the Fiscal Officer (middletonclerk@midohio.twcbc.com). 
Packets can also be obtained by calling 419-823-1480 to make an appointment for pick up. 
Bid opening occurs Wednesday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m.
